Alright, so. A Kara group was running tonight, which I had signed up for pretty much the second it went up earlier this week, and later 2 other hunters did too (I went with them last week with another hunter, I don't mind having a fair roll-down for gear). This week, I'm on, stocked up with necessities, and one of the other hunters, who was on the "going" list for the group tonight was on, and I was on standby.

Well. Neither of us go. Another hunter goes, one who happens to be the GM's girlfriend. I'm not trying to push out another girl in the guild or whatever, but I believe in fairness. Her gear is worse than mine, and her +hit is only 22 where mine is 103. Yet, Trog (the other hunter) should've gone. His gear isn't the best either, but he's at the same level as her, and he actually signed the hell up and was on the "Going" list.

THEN, the Raid leader tells all the hunters who didn't get to go that they need to gear up a little bit more, and have 1500 AP unbuffed and better crit blah blah blah. The GMs gf doesn't meet either of those requirements, even after picking up two Kara pieces (and my stats are still better than hers).

So...I don't know. I hope I don't sound like I'm hating on her because she's another girl. I'm not liking the situation because me and another hunter got gipped because of a guild princess. But this is silly, I think. I like this guild. I may be a noob to the guild, but do I get to complain due to stuff like this yet?

(I should also mention that she and the GM went with the Kara Group 2 earlier in the week. Wtf.)

EDIT: I left. I talked to him about it, gave all my points with utmost politeness, and his answer was "She's my girlfriend." and then "Deal with it." So yeah. Fun times. And I'm guild-hunting again.

Here is a long post full of crack spec, complete with handy lists and picspam, that I originally posted on my journal on Tuesday, but have added quite a bit to since.

As I say in the post, my spec is always wrong, being over-complicated and biased to my own preferences. Knowing that, I might as well just go to town with it and have fun. ;)

this is what they did yesterday, since they have a ghetto bus. it was fun though, but i didnt get to get a whole song because of lack of memory. but danny said theyre doing this for the next week or so? something like that. I think he said hes hoping for them to be good to go by detroit warped so I guess we'll see!

I adapted a recipe from Vegetarian Times to make these for a brunch I attended last week, and they were quite delicious!  The best part is that you can use any combination of veggies.

Veggie Quiche Cups
(24 Servings)

3 C liquid egg substitute
2-3 C shredded reduced fat cheese
1 C diced onion
1 C diced green or yellow pepper
1 pkg. (10 oz.) chopped spinach, thawed, drained and squeezed dry
1 pkg. portabella mushrooms, chopped  (I used the sliced kind from Trader Joe's)
1 medium zucchini, chopped
6 drops hot pepper sauce (optional)

Muffin pans
Foil baking cups

Preheat oven to 350 F.  Line 12-cup muffin pans with foil baking cups.  (I used 2 pans)  Spray inside of cups with nonstick spray.

Combine egg, cheese, onions, peppers, spinach, and any other veg in mixing bowl and stir well.  Add hot pepper sauce, if desired, and mix.  Place mixture in each cup, filling to about the top of each cup.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until knife inserted in center of one cup comes out clean.  (I did these in two shifts since I have a small oven, but I still baked each for 25 minutes.) 

Also, these can be cooked ahead and heated up in a warm oven for later serving.

I have a couple of 70's. A NE Hunter and a Dranei priest. Basically, I created my priest when BC came out and didn't really start playing her until last August. I leveled her up from 45-70 in about a month and a half and then...didn't do a damn thing with her. I leveled as Shadow and as such got a lot of 'shadow priest's can't heal' comments and whatnot.

Anyways, my friend ended up making a holy priest and we leveled together. Him healing and me tanking lol. Anyways, now I have this lovely 70...almost a year later that I really just didn't do anything with and am sort of afraid to try to heal because I didn't really get the experience from it I wanted while leveling.

I just respecced to Disc/Holy to do some pvp and try to do SOMETHING with her. Any suggestions as to what I should do? Should I start healing lower level instances and just get the feel of it and get some S2 gear to get the +healing stats?

Any suggestions or advice would be great.

I just recently started playing WoW again after a 1.5 year hiatus. I haven't gone back to my main (60 Dwarf Hunter), and I'm not sure if I will or not. Is it worth it to go back this much later after the expansion to try and level?

I've always wanted to play horde so a few of my friends and I made some characters on Azshara. No surprise, I'm playing a hunter. But I've also got a rogue and a warrior that I play around with. Any tips for someone playing a rogue and a warrior for the first time?

And the biggest question of all...what sort of add-ons are good for hunters? And in general, what add-ons are good? I'm sure there are tons of new ones since I played. Also, what's the best place to get them?

Anything else I should know about what's new in the game?
